Fostering Services

We understand the challenges faced daily by foster carers and are experienced practitioners who can deliver training and support to groups or individuals.

Our specialism in fostering, SGO and Connected Persons includes:

• Skills To Foster training (weekends/weekdays)
• Initial training for SGO and Connected Persons
• Birth children initial training (workshop) to support Skills To Foster training for the parents
• 1:1 work with foster carers, SGO and Connected Persons carers in crisis using solution-focused strategies
• Investigating complaints
• Undertaking Form F Assessments as well as additional assessments/ reviews of foster carers
• Mentoring staff
• Independent audit of fostering services against regulations
• Developing improvement plans
• Recruitment strategies

Change Management Services

We understand the need for agencies and local authorities to be continually improving their services while adapting to changing needs.

Managers are required to do 'more for less' which can feel overwhelming but support in the form of mentoring and coaching can result in the action plan to success.
